Little Houses

Okay, so our house is not exactly little but some of the rooms are bordering on miniscule, the main floor bathroom taking the cake.

Our bathroom is so small that......

two people can not brush their teeth at the same time unless one of them sits on the.... toilet.

you can not bend over (using your knees) to pick something up without being wedged (seriously wedged) between the vanity and the washing machine or the toilet and the dryer.

you can not bend over (not using your knees) without hitting your head on said washer or dryer, the wall, or the door.

really not sure how I am going to brush my teeth in the there when I am 9 months pregnant.

there's no room to kneel with a little person on a kiddy potty, so that must take place in the.... kitchen

delightful.

But really, joking aside, it is delightful. Pietro always says he doesn't know why we need more than 8 square feet of living space anyway, since wherever we are, we always all seem to be in the.... same 8 square feet of space :D Anyone remember the song "Little Houses"? Love it.

"Love grows best in little houses, fewer walls to separate
eat and sleep so close together, you can't help but communicate
If we had more room between us think of all we'd miss
Love grows best in houses just like.... this."

Who needs a sitting and a family room, a playroom and a study, a formal and a family eating area ;) I'll take my 8 square feet of shared space any day.

(but I still thank God for a handyman husband with plans to knock that bathroom wall out and give us 8 more square feet in that bathroom! :D)

Hey, I'll trade you your 8 square feet for mine for a week anyday!!

My bathroom is smaller than yours.

Ha ha, yes, your bathroom wins hands down. And you have 8 people to share your 4 square feet. Now *that's* delightful! Now all we need is for Laura to get on here and argue for her 2 square feet of bathroom in the fifth wheel :D

How many bathrooms in the new house? Betcha the square feet of your bathrooms alone will be as big as your current house!

I chuckled so hard reading your description of your bathroom. Promise me you will have a cell phone when you are nine months pregnant or at least a cordless so when you go in that little bathroom if you get stuck you can call for help! LOL!
