Pour My Love On You…

Pour My Love On You (Let My Words Be Few Album Version) - Phillips, Craig And Dean

Have I said lately how much I adore Sunday afternoons?  Leisurely lunches, sweet afternoon naps and moments of guiltless pleasure doing whatever tickles my fancy.  Usually that involves putting on one of my favorite playlists, sometimes doing a little tidying but mostly just putzing… listening to music and maybe working with my pictures, or browsing through new photos at stock exchange.  Sometimes a particular song will just stop me in my tracks and bring tears to my eyes.   This was the song that did me in  today.  I hit the replay button oh about four times, and then spent (can’t say wasted… I mean I could have been sleeping, right?) some time surfing through stock photos to pair with it.  Sharing a glimpse of my Sunday afternoon with you…

I don't know how to say exactly how I feel

Such pretty words and pictures. Like you say, one of those songs that stops you in your tracks. Thank you for sharing; I had not heard this before.

I KNOW! I thought the same thing... I can't "pour out" if I'm not "filled up"... it's a beautiful circle of worship. Loved the sermon today...

You always do such a great job marrying just the right picture to the words.
I don't know why it is, but it is usually when I'm alone that a song will just pierce my heart in that way. I sometimes find myself on my knees or flat on my face on my kitchen floor. I feel more freedom to really worship when I'm not conscious of other people around me.
I love the song too.

Very beautiful work putting that all together. Hope you are having a great week with your kids. It was park weather here today. Loved it.

Amazing song set to lovely pictures. The words remind me of these verses..."Then Mary took about a pint of pure nard, and expensive perfume, she poured i on Jesus' feet and wiped his feet with her hair. And the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume." John 12:3 "..Jesus said, She has done a beautiful thing to me." Mark 14:6 I clicked on the song more than once. Thanks for sharing.

I really enjoy reading your site. I've been reading it for about a month now. You have very meaningful posts that touch my heart. I love this song that you have playing with this post. I hope you don't mind if I add it to my playlist too.

Blessings.

Thanks A-Belle... those words mean alot. Sometimes I feel like I've stripped my soul here and am standing naked before a bunch of people *eek*. it's always nice to know people aren't just gawking at me, but are intimately connected with the essence of who I am and who He is shaping me into. I'm glad so many were touched by the song, Phillips, Craig and Dean are favorites of mine. Love y'all.

That was so touching! Can I just translate your words into Hungarian (my mother tongue) and put this whole thing on my hungarian blog so others who cannot speak English can read it? Can I have your permission for that? Anyway: thank you for sharing.

yes dear Eszti, of course you may.
