When asked his logic, he asserted that "First you eat... *then* there's dessert!" =) totally saw that one coming. The girls insisted he was wrong, because of course, first you have a full bowl, then you eat and it's empty. It was a good opportunity to talk about thinking outside the box ;-)

Kids are so funny the way they have that inate ability to see things in alot of different ways. He might have been wrong according to the answer key, but there is more than one way to skin a squirrel (as we say down here).
